Scott has significant experience building and leading successful healthcare and technology enterprises ranging from Fortune 400 companies to start-ups. He built a strong foundation across all functional areas at industry-leading biopharmaceutical firms such as Merck, AstraZeneca, and BiogenIdec, where he was Vice President of Commercial Operations for the Oncology Business Unit. Scott leveraged his experience in biotech to found, invest, and incubate numerous successful companies in healthcare and technology. He has sat on the boards of private and publicly traded firms. He holds a BA in Economics from San Diego State University and an MBA from University of Redlands.
Jaya has more than 25 years experience in emerging technologies and their application to business problems. He has had a distinguished technology career serving in senior management positions as well as in management consulting, research, and development. Jaya is a Co-founder/CTO of Candor Business Solutions, a cloud software platform development company. Previously,Jaya served in senior leadership roles at a number of successful venture backed start-ups, including ArcSight, Corio, and Fox Technologies. The majority of Jaya’s career was at Oracle, where as a Senior Director, he was instrumental in pioneering several strategic initiatives including Oracle Business OnLine, Strategic Procurement, and Semiconductor Factory Execution System solutions. Jaya has an MBA from W.P. Carey School of Business, Arizona State University and a BE in mechanical engineering with distinction from Osmania University, India.
CFO & SVP, Business Development
Mark has extensive experience in healthcare investment, finance, and operations with over 30 years of experience and over 20 years of direct private equity investing experience. Prior to joining nPhase, he was Chief Development Officer of Integrated Oncology Network, LLC where he led the acquisition and integration of over 20 cancer centers. Previously, Mark was the COO of NationsHealth, a diabetes supplies and insurance services company where he led restructuring efforts on behalf of the ComVest Group. He was also an operating and investment partner leading healthcare investments at ComVest, a leading private equity firm focused on middle market acquisitions.
Mark earned an MBA from Harvard Business School, a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University, and a BA in Physics from Colgate University. Previous board positions held include, NationsHealth, Accelerated Care Plus, Enable Corp, ScriptRx, and Futurematrix.
SVP, Professional Services
Frank is responsible for professional services, education, and customer support services at nPhase. Frank has over 35 years of management and consulting experience, predominantly in the assurance, government, and healthcare sectors. Frank is a qualified UK accountant – both private and public sectors, started his career in Government, but spent most of his professional career, 18 years, with PriceWaterhouse (now PwC), 13 of which as a Partner. Since leaving PwC in 2001, Frank has worked in several start-ups in the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) and anti-fraud space. He is a co-founder of Candor Business Solutions Ltd., a cloud software platform development company, and more recently co-founded Flat Rock Systems, a cloud based legal case analysis solution.
EVP, Commercial operations
Dave Sunderhaft is EVP Commercial Operations at REDCap Cloud including responsibility for product innovation, sales, marketing, and delivery. Dave is a technology and life sciences executive with over 20 years of successful leadership experience. Prior to joining REDCap Cloud, Dave Led the eClinical Solutions practice at PAREXEL. During his time there Dave was responsible for helping Pharmaceutical, Biotech, CRO, and Medical Device Companies simplify and automate clinical research processes using internet based collaboration software including CTMS, IVR, EDC, Portals, ePRO, eCOA, Integration Middleware, Adaptive Trial Design, Medical Imaging, Enterprise Reporting, Scientific Data Warehouse, Operational Data Warehouse, and Trial Master File Systems in a SaaS business model. Dave grew the business from concept to greater than $50m year over year. Dave’s passion is to apply technology to clinical research processes and bring massive change that enables breakthrough patient therapies.
